How is the project financed?

West Texas Christian Foundation has underwritten the cost of the land and will provide the necessary monies for building the common areas. The remaining portion is to be financed by the sale of life-time leases to residents 55 years or older.

When will the life-time lease be terminated?

By the resident at any time with thirty (30) days written notice.
If Village East Retirement Community, Inc. determines the occupant(s) is not able to care for himself due to mental, emotional or physical impairment.

Must I be a member of the Church of Christ to reside at Village East?

No, Village East is open to singles, married couples, members of all faiths and races who are willing to abide by Rules & Regulations established by Village East Retirement Community, Inc.

Will appliances be provided?

Village East will provide refrigerator, dishwasher, range, microwave, disposal, washer and dryer.

Will each home be energy efficient?

Each townhome will be high energy efficient rated.

What fees will I be expected to pay other than my telephone, electricity, taxes, content insurance and Monthly Service Fee?

No other fees are required, but other upgraded options at the residents expense may include, internet or upgraded TV packages.

Will I feel secure at Village East?

A Security Service will be on duty during the night hours. Each townhome will have heavy-duty dead bolt locks on the exterior front door and two types of emergency systems within.

Will there be activities sponsored by Village East?

A multipurpose clubhouse is available for use by the Village East Residents. See our calendar for scheduled activities.

Are pets allowed at Village East?

A single pet not weighing more than 50 pounds, and with proper licensing, etc., will be allowed.

Will financing be available?

You may use your own financial institution.
